The hotel is central, but peaceful locatied in Aurlandsvangen. 150m to the bus stop with connection to E16 - Oslo/Lillehammer/Bergen, 9km to the Flåm Railway, 200m to the boat-terminal with connection to Bergen and fjordcruises on the Nærøyfjord which now is incl. on UNESCO's World heritage List .
The road to the new viewpoint "Stegastein" runs right past the hotel. Aurland is a perfect starting point for dayexcursions by car or boat. Good hiking possibilities.
